Today's been an interesting day. Violence in Paris - that I didn't see a whole lot of news coverage on (had to find out about it through the blogs, so it takes time.) Still, sounds like race relations are not at a high point at the moment...
...is it poor of me to think that they should take lessons from the people in East Lansing on how to do a riot right? (Although, if it's been going on for a week, they've obviously got some technique to it.)
MPAA strikes the Elderly again, suing for more money than they offered to settle for from a person they couldn't possibly collect it off of. Brilliant moves, guys. This ranks right up there with being in touch with someone's needs. And it's about as effective as the emergency tie.
Austraila becomes a police state? Haven't they learned their lesson from us? Apparently not. Or, maybe they're taking a lesson from the aforementioned media cartels. After all, what they're doing to prevent you from exercising your rights is a pretty good model for what's happening now, only the stakes are a bit higher.
On the slightly queasy front, try the idea of a thirty-thousand calorie sandwich.
On the somewhat philosophical point, a thought of where thought needs to go. When mixed with audio cut-ups, there's plenty to go around in terms of a head-trip.
So, from tomorrow on, my soul's sold to the gaming convention. If you're in Ann Arbor at all this weekend, drop by and see what we've got going. I promise it'll be interesting to just watch. You'll have to pay up if you want to play, though.
