Was a good boy and did a small amount of work today. Nothing serious, nothing hair-raising and certainly nothing worth panicking over. I'm not making myself panic yet (that's for Monday, really.) Actually, once I get the second set of due dates all marked up, then I can start properly panicing. Until then, no dice. Besides, not worth making myself panic when I'm going to have fun tomorrow.

More airline security protocols: starting to do unprofessional psych evaluations on us now to see if we're terrists. If you're already annoyed by corporate intrusions into your life, then perhaps you'll find solace in taking your revenge on RFID tags.

If you're looking for a fun game to play, try Capture the Flag - With Stuff. There's a pretty polished variant here, which has a little extra Stuff. If that sounds a little bit like there's some acid involved, there may be. LSD-25's creator turned 100 today, so respect is due to him for spawning the acid that would become so important.

Tomorrow produces fun, and possibly, the evaporation of a gift card (piff! Just like that!) or two. But it's in good fun. And hopefully, I'll just remember this semester that things aren't as bad as they look. So far, they aren't. Nice simple weekly assignments for a few classes would be a welcome change - they bunch the stress at midterms and finals, rather than spread them about the whole semester. I will persevere.

Although my geekery is not complete - my MP3 player model number has no Linux driver or loader program that I am aware of. Perhaps if there's a generic somewhere that can recognize it that I haven't found yet?
