Weekend Part One!
Mar. 12th, 2006 02:52 amSo I did actually do some work today - finishing a homework assignment. I've got two major papers to think about soon enough, so I'll have to get working on those, rather than dinking around on the Internet or something like that.
Went out and has a good time at
girtygrin's meeting - bowled a career-best 174 or so (I think it's a career-best, anyway.), with some good and lucky rolls. More often than not, though, if I hit the pocket, I left a pin standing. And sometimes I couldn't pick up the spare. Still, lots of fun, and lots of scritching, both given and received. I was complimented nicely by one of the goers on my scritching technique - she asked if she could keep me, then decided I was a keeper anyway. Which is pretty good praise, all from a good backscratching. But, *purrrrrrrrrr* she gave a really, really, good scritching herself. One could appreciate the benefits of a fandom that gives good backscratches to other members.
From the vaults of The Intarwebs... your "inner eye", Do the Greys have eyelids?, and visual things for your bike wheels.
And also more about how the RIAA and its friends are trying to block anyone from removing DRM from their computer, regardless of how poor, security-buggy, or otherwise unteneable it is. Yeah. So when "Pluto's Kiss" arrives, we can blame it on the DRM for making us vulnerable.
The last thing is just a thought - no lengthy explanation behind it.
"Glasses - seeing through someone else's eyes".
Think about it.
