Thank the gods for reminder phone calls. Otherwise, it would have just sailed entirely over my head. And that would have sucked. *whacks memory repeatedly* C'mon. You even had it written down.
Anyway, midterm tomorrow. Got my cheat sheet for it, and by the end of this week, I'll be on the paper-writing warpath again. Rawr, graduate schooling. Which also means that I need to get in some advising so that I do get a clue as to what courses I should take next year. I'll have to check on that, too. My head wants to spin.
We've also come to another of those fun crossroads points - more study is needed to determine our true volition. The influx of information must be processed. This matter under consideration may require private communication - public journal postings may not be the best medium for it until the matter is resolved. Will look into it. Complexities abound - life seems simpler at earlier stages. But the experience we've gained and the self-knowledge won't be traded away for reliving earlier days. Needlessly cryptic, I'm sure, but we're still sorting it out.
Other fronts - data mining doesn't stop terrorism. Not well, anyway, according to any statistical analysis. Too many false positives. Also, the story of the radium girls, of a time when companies ran things like the workers were expendable... wait, it was in the 20s or so. Nevermind that first statement.
Recycle your phone into a plant - mobile technology with biodegradeable covers. Recycle them, and then they'll be planted and turned into something that can help replenish some of the resources used to make the phone.
Must go to bed now. Class in the morning, and sleep time is ticking away...
