Blaaaargh.

Voting women in strongly Islamic Country - Kuwait. Yay for progress. Hopefully, this happens more often, and freely, without big bloodshed. Well, two out of three ain't bad?
Department of Homeland Security Official charged for trying to seduce a child. A serious blow to the credibility of the organization to have such things happen. Although, if he didn't want to go through the hassle of on-line work, apparently he can go to Atlanta (right in the Bible Belt, according to the article) and find more than enough girls there. Although, there's something odd about the way that article's written - it parallels a few scare-tactic stories we've heard about how all girls who run away are forced into sex work. Or that we should think there's a vast underground network of pimps and prostitutes, all underage, lurking in the major metropolitan areas. I don't necessarily say it rings false, but there's something odd about it that I can't quite put my finger on. (Not to say that I endorse any of that at all. Anyone pushed into something like that against their will deserves to be able to get out.)
Apple unveils dual-boot application. Now, you can run OSX and Windows XP on the Mactel architecture. You can check out the beta for yourself here: Boot Camp. New OSX, Leopard, will incorporate Boot Camp in final form. Most interesting. Definitely gives credence to the thought of owning a Mac with the Intel chips - get two OS for the hardware of one, and OSX is a nice OS to have.
Is now early in the morning, and I'm still trying to get everything done for Tuesday. Many mad props to
2dlife for walking me slowly through the process of making a good report. Bedtime now, to let the subconscious do the work.
