Wow, it was fun watching the kids play Pokemon today - I noticed not much variety in the chosen ones to battle, and that the same combination won both tournaments. With the way things are, I guess that combo was a good one.

Ever had a tune stuck in your head? Well, now thanks to the magic of the Internet, tap it out while you hum and see if they can find it. No guarantees, of course, but it did come up with some close suggestions when I tapped out "The Grand Old Duke of York..."

In favor of making fun of psychologists and their mothers, we present the Freudian Slip - it's a wearable way of expressing your inability to express the cuteness of the person you're next to.

People who claimed ESP were unable to predict their arrest - and apparently, their stage magic and charlatanism didn't even fool the undercover cop well enough. Also, we find it interesting that NY state says you can't claim to be a medium unless it's for entertainment.

Speaking of things that are mystical in nature, is it possible that the Amazons built a stone calendar of their own? Wouldn't be too surprising. So now both hemispheres have their magical stone calendars. Those of us who are a little cheaper will just have to do with Carhenge.

Remember that whole "Al Gore invented the Internet" bit? Well, see how well Senator Ted Stevens grasps the idea of the Internets. He also voted against an amendment that would put in some basic net neutrality provisions into a telecommunications bill (what is it with all the "real work" of law being done in amendments to other bills, sometimes with the host bill having little or nothing to do with the amendment?)

Even conservatives think George W. Bush isn't a conservative. Well, at least with the way he spends tax money like water and adds more spending. They're not necessarily going to stick him with the "l" word, but it's seeming more and more that the only people who like George W. Bush are the people who want the end of the world to arrive prematurely.

So enjoy your fireworks and movies tomorrow with a giant box of popcorn. Might actually be the right size, for once, that will last the movie, rather than the advertisements.

Yep, so tomorrow, happy birthday, me. Another year complete. Huzzah, huzzah, huzzah?
