Write Every Day: 19 August 02019
Aug. 19th, 2019 10:06 pmGreetings! This is the Write Every Day Check-in post for 19 August 02019.
Today was mostly a day where I got to say "No, group that is usually here, you don't actually have a reservation, so could you use the tables that are somewhere else?" and then let the condo association in for their meeting. And talk about the skills we should have learned in school, had we been paying attention, in relation to the reality that some people aren't going to ever be comfortable with online anything, and that we are probably equally clueless about things they consider to be simple essential knowledge, like automobile maintenance, proper use of tools, and cooking. Although I've gotten better at the last two, since the joys of having a dwelling that's yours is that you end up doing a lot of the minor and major things yourself because it's the cheapest way to go, so long as that video on Youtube isn't going to steer you wrong.
I did get some writing done today, on a new assignment, which seems to have finally clicked a bit on how it's going to go. Really, the remaining question in that regard is how ludicrous I'm going to let it get before breaking the loop and going for the ending.
( It's tally time! )
