I realize everything is difficult and there are ten thousand things all demanding time, attention, and money. It's year three of a worldwide pandemic, your government may be actively trying to make you ill or dead, there's invasion and war happening in the world, climate disasters are increasing, and your locality may be trying to further enshrine racism, heteropatriarchy, and white supremacy into law and by creating chilling effects against anyone who might be trying to work against those goals. There's a lot going on in the world, and it's probably more than most of our cope can handle.
If, however, you have some spare cash around, I'm going to say that today is the last day of the Fandom Trumps Hate call. You could browse the entire catalog of offerings (although we recommend using the effective tagging system in place so as to filter down to at least a smaller subset of things you might be interested in) and place bids until 8PM EST, a little over seven hours from now.
If you don't have a lot of money, I would recommend perusing the Golden Needle tag, which is applied to any of the offerings where at least one of the offered works or labors has no bids on it. You can possibly put in the minimum donation (many start at $5 USD) and get to assist in the creation of a fanwork, or get someone else's assistance in the creation of yours. Yes, I'm on the Golden Needle list, so this is a little bit of self-promotion, but really, a lot of people put in these offers of things to help raise donations for organizations that are trying to push back against the tide.
