Weekend splitter.

Well, it's been fun having annaonthemoon here for a bit of time. It's been a lot of fun, actually, having her visit. Check one more off the list of Boardies that I've actually met.

A slight aggravation - OCRemix is going pay to play, with a fifteen dollar/month subscription fee. The giant torrent releases will still be free, they say, so I may just have to get them in giant batches rather than individually. (moltare notes that I may have, indeed, been had by the folks at OCRemix. If it is a joke, it's a well-perpetrated one, and takes advantage of the fact that I have seen this sort of thing happen far too often.)

A slight amusement - Beachfront Katamari. Still a long way to go, young Prince.

Remember the pic we saw of Scalia in church, giving a chin-flick? Turns out the phtographer who snapped the picture got fired for releasing the pic of Scalia making an obscene gesture. Just proving that no good deed goes unpunished.

A little cheesecake for you - a list of atheist pin-ups, with pictures. Although they're not all strictly atheists, as there may be some agnostics in there, too.

Lastly, an object that may be of use to sharpsight, if you have not yet been alerted to it: brain cells and computer chips are talking to each other. Perhaps the beginnings of nanotechnology.

Last bits for tonight - I really need to get out of the current house environment. These occasional outbursts over matters that seem not to be of import are really making my good will go bad. A change of scenery should be just what I need. I'm getting out at the end of this month. And that will be a good thing.

Well, then I do believe I've been had. Such is the nature of a good joke, then. Ah, well, at least I managed to avoid being punk'd on the day itself.

The problem with a joke like that is, well, there's really nothing there that would suggest it as such. Been around the internets too long and seen that precise thing happen to get it there.
