Yeah, so that thing's happening soon. Not today, not tomorrow, but soon. Today was a relaxing day spent in the pursuit of idleness. We are proud to report that our pursuits were successful. Apparently, many others had the same idea. So happy Canada day for the people who celebrate, and for those with the weekend off, enjoy.

wait, i think Kaura has a good idea there. Ice Cream! But...not a carvel cake or whatever. A real ice cream cake. Oh, wait. But the one that I make is chocolate...nevre mind. Hmmm. I bet it could be made non-chocolate. They're a pain inthe ass for anyone to make, though. Ok, I change my mind back. Rainbow Sprinkle cake WITH ice cream. There we go. (well, you know where that came from. Spice cake is better, IMHO)

N) Hmm. Maybe you're trying the wrong recipies...? There are many types of cakes, from the soft-and-moist kind to the brown-bread kind (actually, that's just the two that I know of: however, there are probably others).

(And yes, I know that my refusal to accept your answer directly and move on without challenging it in any way is both offensive and ridiculous, but... *chocolate wired into main thinking pathways concerning food, THE CHOCOLATE MUST BE SERVED! MUST... SERVE... DELICIOUSNESS... EVEN WHEN... RIDICULOUS! (or am I using ridiculousness as a way to lower the offensiveness of continuing to challenge?)*)

Chocolate cake, no. Browines are acceptable, although I'm not necessarily fond of those, either.

I prefer my chocolate in other forms. Like when strawberries are dipped in chocolate.

I already gave my answer, but consider, also, a torte or something very non-traditional like tiramisu. Or even something totally non-traditional like a plated dessert.
