I shall do best to prevent my eye colour from turning green. Actually, I'll be very happy for the couple, and not really worry too much about myself. Also, I finally managed to put a little more time into Kingdom Hearts II that I borrowed. Whee, that game's going to be fun. Although the Gummi Ship missions had better get easier when I get really awesome Gummi Ships or something. You know, something that'll just cover the whole map in blistering fire at will.

The blame game continues apace. We must blame them and make a fuss, before someone thinks of blaming us. At the same time, the U.S. also vetoed a resolution demanding Israel stop attacking Gaza and that the Palestinians release the Israeli solider that started the whole mess. One would think the U.S., at least in theory, would like to ensure that Israel actually sticks around, rather than having all its neighbors gang up on it in a last-straw sort of move.

People have come a long way, but there's still more work to be done in equality. Scientist who has lived as man and woman says male privilege is alive and well in the sciences. Inherent sexism of a sort, although the article suggests the P.C. prevents frank discussion. One notes that if there is an elephant in the room, generally it is best to talk about it before all are trampled.

This is only a test of the emergency mobile phone text messaging system. Had this been an actual terrorist attack, the telecom network would have been so very farked up that you wouldn't be able to receive our messages telling you to bend over and kiss your arse goodbye. Then again, we might already be in World War Three, and just not fully realize it yet. Remember what Einstein said about World War III and World War IV? I hope it doesn't come to pass. Although, someone suggests that the real catalyst for the wars will be global warming.

Even the hint of wrongdoing, the very smallest bit is enough to get you in trouble these days. Witness a vicar who pecked one of the pupils - dismissed from his post because one parent over-reacted. And that's what it is, an over-reaction.

Anyway, they're getting married tomorrow. So I should go to bed so that I can drive all the way down.

Last straw? It has been the U.S.'s efforts that have kept Israel existent for this long.

Also, I hope I never see the day I look at my cell phone to find "omg liek run 4 it --DHS" blinking at me.

I get those amber alerts on my phone, but I think it's pretty useless.

Have fun at the wedding :) You know, your eyes are pretty when they're green :-P (though not jealous green, that colour looks bad on everyone)

I really hate the Bush administration. It's warmongering right now, and not even doing so with its own troops.

Hopefully this madness won't escalate any further, but if it does, you can bet that we'll be using our own troops.

M) *notes the parallel of the 'terrorism'/World War III example with Deus Ex: Invisible War, clear boundaries becoming blurred and being replaced with cells in the same geographies, more personal wars being fought*

Perhaps this body is more useful than I like to think, then.

"Why do Asian girls do better on math tests than American boys? No one thinks they are innately better." Oh? *amusement*

Who are 'they'? *is reminded of Oryx and Crake*
