Another day done.
Sep. 13th, 2006 11:33 pmNot much to write about today - got ingenious and made kettle corn as my snack for my 9am class, and then got to enjoy about 2/3s of the barrel that I brought in afterward. Completed some segment of my homework for the next week, including slagging through the classification rules, wondering whether I got everything right that I'm supposed to. I'll probably send it out for review tomorrow to see whether it's likeable, or even correct. Next week I get to start thinking about how I'm going to do my "This is how I spent my summer Internship" presentations and start with the blasted Powerpoint-ness. If I can get that out of the way in a reasonable amount of time, I'll still have to fend off the regular assignments and the bigger ones of the regular classes coming down the pipe. So knocking out the Internship presentation will be a Good Thing. I just hope I don't crack. under some sort of pressure thing. Shouldn't, though, unless the big projects really get crushing. I hope they don't crush me in similar areas and that I feel like I have enough time to work on them (I should - class schedule is very conducive to doing real work a lot of the time). It's my last year here. I'm beginning to feel nervous about the affair.
2003 UB313 has an official designation. And we're quite pleased with it. Say hello to Eris, baby!

bradhicks gives us a bit of an insight as to why Spain turned away models under 18 BMI is really a good thing for everyone. (AP News article on the model decision.) By forcing the women to look more like, say, women, rather than sticks, it might help prove to everyone that fashion does actually work for regular people, and more importantly, that one needs not starve oneself to achieve fashion runway beauty and poise.
Last pair, not necessarily related - one,
welah, have you settled in yet? Would like to converse with you at some point soon and catch up.
Second, I need a newer computer with more memory - torrent files are making everything slower around here. Bit of a pain in the arse.
