The Return of TPK!
Nov. 3rd, 2003 12:11 am...also known as our IM co-eds rocked the house tonight. A mercy rule victory for the Trombone section footballers, Team Pretty Kitty, 30-0. It was a good game, so I got to take two snaps (I'm the back-up center on that team at the moment...) before the rule was enforced. Ah, well. the Bone Babes, our all-girls team, plays Tuesday. Sac Up, the all-dudes team, plays Wednesday. No practice tomorrow, so I might pop on down to the Rip Hissak (the freshman all-dudes team) v. Bone Babes scrimmage/practice. May play Ref, actually.
I did do some work on my papers, and so I felt the weights coming off my chest for a bit. Convinced Mom to buy me some manga for Christmas, so I'll be getting Trigun #1 (Go Dark Horse! Trigun and Megatokyo...), Azumanga Daioh #1, and DiGi Charat #4. I took the Saber Marionette J #3 that I got with the gift certificates I redeemed today. It was buy four, get the fifth free day, plus I get a 10% discount when I buy at that particular bookstore, and I had $10 in those certificates, so the total came out to a little over $30. I was pleased.
Tomorrow, I go get Haibane Renmei v2... although I have to scale back on my manga purchases for a while until I pick up on employment. After all, the books will still be there when I get the money to go grab 'em. Just another impetus to go get a second semester job.
I've got to find a place to land next year, since Roommate N is graduating and Roommate S wants to commute from home, which isn't too far away. So hopefully that will do okay.
Anyway, got to turn in so that I can get up in the morning.
