Cast has been reduced in size. I now have two splints. If everything heals well, in two weeks I will have no splints, no pins, and plenty of exercises to do. However, it will be a fairly painful two weeks.

Started in on second paper. Work ethic continues to nag me until I die.

Further update from the back of my mind: This regards the Men Against Violence Against Women comment I made a few entries back. I picked up some information today. Apparently, there's a lot more to violence than actual violence. Jokes, comments, and attitudes are now included.

My question still remains: Are men as a gender so depraved that they require organizations to promote the cause of good behavior towards the opposite sex? I hope not, but if I'm wrong, do tell me. That way I can make arrangements for my shattered optimism.

Saw miyabiarashi today on my way back from class. We chatted a bit about some subjects and then she had class and I had work, in theory, to do on paper two. She's a nice lady, ya know? She gets suitors all the time these days, or so I hear.

Only one week left after tomorrow... thank you, Lady. I could use some time off.

Alex, dearie, "suitor" is a very dignified term for someone who a) has bluntly asked for sexual favors and b) attempted to set me on fire.

Amen on the needed vacation time.

...but it sounds better when you make those kinds of clarifications. After all, people might make bad assumptions if I start talking about that kind of stuff.

Either way, I was using the term in a bit of a riff, since I realize it's not necessarily the most dignified term in the book.
