Still working on housing.

Did some steps yesterday toward finding somewhere to live, but haven't heard anything back yet from the place I applied to. So I'm a little bit nervous, but there's a good chance that nothing's really happened yet. I left my number to be called when all was said and done, and nothing's rung up. Ah, well, such things happen. I'm not worried yet, considering, but I always tyend to be a bit nevous when things are late past when they were supposedly going to be done. Circumstances being what they are, too, there may have been complications in other parts of existence. Knowing me, as soon as I post this, or not too long thereafter, it's all going to fall into place. It's been the way that this entire job hunt went, so the apartment hunt would make sense to follow through in such a way.

Anyway, I think I'm just going to have a wander or two around town today to see what's around, or I might just pick up a book here at the library and read for a few hours. It's not like I have pressing requirements for time or anything.

So, I think that's everything for today. Once I get things in order, hopefully I'll actually be able to update regularly, at my schedule and convenience, rather than having to try and compress all of it into one hour.

I'd give them a call this afternoon if they said they'd call you this morning. Just to ask them for a status, and then to find out if there's a problem -- like, say, if your AA landlord hasn't called them yet, you can call him and prod him to call them back or whatever.

Things look to be in order, as you probably know by now. I haven't seen any scrapbook stores around, but then again, I'm probably not knowing where to look.

For what it's worth, when I moved to Philly, I found my place literally 3 days before I started my job. It all seemed to work out. It always does. :)
