Hrm. Thanks for he information - makes it seem much less like an organization greedily trying to hoard our money and more like a sensible amount of fraud protection.

I wonder if the BoA grunts didn't know how to temporarily raise the limit for the purchase, or weren't authorized to do so, or if BoA has no policy or no intent on raising limits like that. We'd have to ask.
