As things march on apace... I played my first official broomball game tonight. Although the opposition was unfortunately understaffed, they had a solid keeper and kept the game lively. I had a hat trick, with the last goal coming late in the second half... it went just like my golf shots - aiming for the opposite corner, it went straight up and in. My second goal was a deflection goal off the defense... a nice power slapshot. Of course, I would have taken a penalty too, but they scored on the possession... oh, well. I fell into the goalie chasing down a ball, so it would have been a legit penalty. My center scored a couple of goals himself en route to a 5-2 victory. One more game at least.

By tomorrow when I get up, welah and torakiyoshi will be on their way. Apparently, I'm taller than he expected (Kodom-Al's kinda short, so I suppose that's a logical reason) and he says I'm not particularly obnoxious (I have no idea where he gets that idea from. But a compliment is a compliment, and so I'll take it.) He even said I might be cool. (Of course, the time I spent with them today may have shifted that opinion.)

We toured a bit of the town today and landed back at the apartment to watch the first period of the Avs-Wings game. Safe journeys, the both of you nuts. And this time, make sure the frigging car works!

Now, having expelled my excess heat generated by the game, I think I can go off to bed safely.

It runs, but I can't really trust it until I get the oil changed :( and that costs money.
