Date: 2011-05-03 05:31 pm (UTC)Tailors and seamstresses would be a very nice thing. About the only time I see them is when I'm getting a suit, and even then, it's just "alterations". Problem is, I would also want my clothes to be able to handle the normal variation of my body over time, so that it can be expanded if I do for a bit, and taken in when I get back in the exercise habit.
For women, I can only guess that it gets worse, because I don't think much of women's clothing is made to be that flexible - and it's very expensive to have to buy more than one of the same thing for when your sizes change.
I don't know why there's that much secrecy on the workers at Google. It seems very odd.
