Armistice Day 02011
Nov. 11th, 2011 11:15 pmOn the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, the bells should ring to remind us of the Great War, the War that was to end all wars... a war that would be fought again the next generation and would see the use of nuclear weapons against a civilian population.
We should always remember these tragedies and work toward a world that does not fight wars and require militaries to strive against each other.
For those who do fight, we hope that their causes have always been just. And that upon their return, the country that sent them off to fight will welcome them back and help them adjust to civilian life, help them live with the traumas they have suffered in their service, and help them and their families stay together and functioning.
