Summoning a Heart to Heart (1287 words) by silveradeptThis was the first one for this year, and it was a happy start, as the recipient very much enjoyed what I provided. Nothing helps build confidence like someone saying they liked your work.
Chapters: 1/1

Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Tina Branford | Terra Branford, Maduin (Final Fantasy VI)
Additional Tags: Insert Coin
Summary:In a break between adventures, Terra summons her father to try and learn more about her life before the Empire. Maduin tries to establish a rapport with the daughter he lost so long ago.
The Boardwalk Job (2781 words) by silveradeptAnother good effort, in terms of the recipient enjoying what they were getting.
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Leverage
Rating: Mature
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Sophie Devereaux/Eliot Spencer
Characters: Sophie Devereaux (Leverage), Eliot Spencer

Three of a Kind (1345 words) by silveradeptMy first treat offering, because the prompt was so good and I have a distinct nostalgia for that game series.
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Quest for Glory
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Erasmus, Fenrus, Hero (Quest for Glory)
Summary:One adventurer in the valley was a bother. Two, dressed alike, was a curiosity. Three in the same day was downright weird, even for Erasmus and Fenrus.
The Many Proposals of Nick Burkhardt (1372 words) by silveradeptThis is by far the most kudoed work of this year. I apparently tapped a small bit of a vein of fandom there - sometimes it helps to be in the right place at the right time. This one worked out pretty good.
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Grimm (TV)
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Nick Burkhardt/Adalind Schade
Characters: Nick Burkhardt, Adalind Schade
Summary:Nick proposes to Adalind. Repeatedly. Differently. Humorously. Maybe one of these times she'll say yes?
An Evening At Mad Max's (1404 words) by silveradeptTapped another nice fandom, and it's my first play in an AU-style setting, so I'm getting many of those things checked off the fandom bucket list, yeh? I liked the prompt for this one quite a bit, so I went with it.
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Mad Max Series (Movies)
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Furiosa/Max Rockatansky
Characters: Furiosa (Mad Max), Max Rockatansky
Additional Tags: Alternate Universe - Bar/Pub
Summary:Furiosa steps into a bar to try and relax and is entranced by the bartender, who seems to be carefully avoiding any sort of speech altogether.
TRUTH SHOP (4446 words) by silveradeptAnd this is the biggest one I've done to date. Also the one that I did where I knew the person who would be receiving it outside of the exchange. Let's say that I was really, really nervous about whether this one would go over well or not before the reveal. But then it got a Best Gift designation from the recipient, and the anxiety subsided.
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Greek and Roman Mythology, Fairy Tales & Related Fandoms
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Characters: Κασσάνδρα | Cassandra (Hellenistic Religion & Lore), The boy who cried wolf - Character, Αράχνη | Arachne (Hellenistic Religion & Lore)
Summary:Those who seek truth are not always ready when they find it, nor do they accept it easily. A man, hurt as a boy, looks for answers, but only finds the truth.
This piece might be why I'm doing this...because I'm pretty sure I heard an unstated threat from

So, that's what I've been up to in terms of building up my presence and works on AO3. There are more exchanges to be had this year, so maybe come December, there will be another summary post. It's nice deciding that you're just going to participate. And the kudos and comments help, too, because it's still nerve-wracking to put your work out there and see whether or not anyone responds.
