silveradeptGreetings! This is the Write Every Day Check-in post for 22 August 02019.
I've got nothing in the writing-advice or otherwise bits today. Other than, perhaps, that I had to re-evaluate whether or not I was thinking of someone as a killjoy because of what they were saying or because they were in the middle of significant life events that are happiness-sucking. (It seemed more like it related to the thing they were thinking of rather than their general attitude, but it's a good reminder for me to think about context when people do things.)
Writing-wise, I've been putting bits and bits on all of my projects, but none of them are anything more than a bit closer to their finishing points. Maybe I'll get one done before tonight. Maybe not, but things are good so far.

Date: 2019-08-23 06:26 am (UTC)Anyway, I've been writing every day except I totally forgot to write on August 11th! It was the day before my departure and things got so hectic I just forgot! My first missed day in three years! Well, I guess I can handle it. On some of the days of my trip I just wrote travel journal notes (which I count, unlike normal diary-writing at home), but sometimes I also worked on a short story that came to me from one of the places I visited. The past couple of days it's just been 2-3 alibi sentences a day, because my eyes and head have hurt too much to write. Fortunately that seems to be getting better...
