silveradeptGreetings! This is the Write Every Day Check-in post for 25 August 02019.
Bothchina_shop and the duo that manages zwei_hexen volunteered to take on September's check-in posts. I don't know if there's a rock-paper-scissors thing that needs to happen to figure out who goes where, but it's nice to have volunteers that will help out and provide new destinations for the traveling show.
There's a topic I was thinking about talking about, in terms of writing, but it might be distressing to the readership, and it might also make people wonder whether my mental state was in a good place (it is, it's just a topic that I think about on occasions where I get older or when I think about the situation), so I'll avoid it for the check-in post.
Writing today was going at the Giving of Grief, as I expected to, and it was relaxing, as much as reading and WTF-ing at some of the more…interesting things that go on can be. (It is, for the most part.)

plague nasty cold I've had - still not too great because I've been coughing hard enough to sprain some muscles, but at least I had a bit more energy to write. So I actually started on a new scene for the novel with a bit over a 100 words, plus a few sentences of fanfic. I also played around with prompt generators and saved some of the promising results, but those don't count as words, since all I wrote was a few character names. *g*no subject
