Date: 2022-07-02 08:32 pm (UTC)Also, I think the "tears of Freyja thing" may result from some, hm, eventual mix-up of her with Frigg? (Complicated topic these mythologies, haha.) But then I imagine Freyja would be definitely in the "sometimes you just need a good cry!" department! Reminds me of that photography project where the artist took pictures of tears, but through a microscope lense-- and the more distress or rage the shedder felt the more "chaotic" their structures were. The tears of joy and laughter almost looked like perfect snowflakes. :)
