Date: 2022-09-14 03:28 pm (UTC)My boss is a bit on tenterhooks as the university is increasing its interfacing with the local school district, and we have a BDSM section. I don't know why we do, and I doubt it's ever circulated, but it's there. We also have a strong religious community in the area, so things could get interesting, she thinks we could get some protests.
We're a community who got in the news for having a Harry Potter book burning when the first book was published. Just google Harry Potter book burning and Alamogordo. A guy turned up dressed as Hitler to protest the burning! Later the preacher who organized it was seen at the movie theater, having taken his niece and nephew to see the movie.
