...and so I'm going to bed, after having been Single, and Aware of It. I did console myself with animation, chocolate, and actually receiving a platonic valentine from one of the trombone girls. The trombone men then went out and delivered platonic valentines to the trombone women. And a good time was had by all. Well, okay, almost everybody. Them, too.

And progress was made on several of the innumerable tasks that lie before me. Got my acceptance packet today. Just more stuff to do tomorrow. Always more stuff to do tomorrow. Always...

Erm, don't blink, please. ID cards could be coming your way, with the special fuck all other laws proviso in it. Could we designate someone to hit anyone who uses "terrorism" as a defense for stripping rights away and invading privacy? And supply them with enough baseball bats to do the job? Or would we have to create a Bureau of Baseball-Bat Wielders just to make sure everyone got hit when they needed to?

Anyway, from there on out, it's bed time. Work tomorrow and all that nonsense. Paying nonsense, mind you, but still nonsensical all the same.

Thank you. I know that I'm okay, even when I'm single. I still have a family that thinks about me and friends. It can just be a depressing day when you have no-one to show affection to.

If I had an attractive female friend who liked lost causes I would pretend to be a lost cause. Which in a way means I am a lost cause really. Egotism like this just can't be contained.
