Or something like it, anyway. That's the sound of another day done - even with a midterm, I think I managed to come out on top. Well, we'll see. the quiz I thought I bombed I got a B on (which is fine with me...) the exam I think I managed to get a decent grade on, well, we'll see when I get back. That and the paper will both be primary concerns. I'm not too worried about either, though. Tomorrow I'll go deliver electronically the second thesis draft to my two readers.

After that, maybe I'll take a hike somewhere nice. Perhaps to somewhere in Miss Hilton's address book? Nah, probably too far beyond my price range. Besides, I know I'm not in that.

I should be glad that I'm not just a number, right? I'm SEVERAL numbers! And I don't have to worry too much anymore - Boys and Girls are equally good - at least overall. Problem is, as with any statistical development, the choice of variables determines the data. So no promises yet.

Instead, I think I shall be content with a good bunch of Zen Stories to contemplate, and work my way out from there. There are many things in these Zen stories worth thinking about, not all of them in the stories themselves.

Work beckons tomorrow - and I'll probably put up a short stint at the library to pick up some reading material for the second half. More of that scholarly stuff, you know.
