Work is work - but there's more, there's more.
First, because I love 8-bit, Engineering, meet Mario Bros. Sounds like an MIT hack, almost. From there, Something interesting on the bill. Probably a drink, though. And then, Town with one person and 5,000 books. Wasn't there a Twilight Zone about these things?
Totalitarian Dance Party. Hitler can't dance, and you know it. In fact, I wonder if he'll even be able to pass the toad test.
And the substance of tonight - well, first there's the test with all the wrong answers (at least, according to CtS), and there's the editorial designed to inflame. Mind you, I have no problem with him expressing his opinion, but some of the stuff he says is not true. (Especially that homosexuality started in 1967). If he's yanking our chains with a farce, he's too close to the real thing. The Editorial Board probably was asleep on this one.
But not all is lost, for you see, someone has found a link where few would venture - Calvin and Hobbes and Fight Club. Could Tyler Durden be Hobbes after Calvin is broken by the real world? Perhaps...
Oh, yeah. Draft two - finished. Anyone want to take a chunk and proofread, let me know. I'll get out of this place with a decent graduation GPA, and then go back for more at the Graduate level... eeee. But the truth is, Spring Break's begun, really, since my thesis-writing class is easing into the revision part, which is much easier. And tomorrow I'm meeting up with Old Roommate N so that we can go down to help my dear older sister move. See you guys latah.

Date: 2005-02-26 04:48 pm (UTC)On my time in Wales I heard tell of a village with just one house, which used to belong top the stationmaster until he went insane and the railway was closed down. One day, I need to go there.
