Well, that's done.
Apr. 4th, 2005 09:56 pmThesis turned in, materials returned. I am free of it. Two papers yet to go. Will perhaps be motivated enough to begin preliminary work on one of them tomorrow.
And since
greyweirdo asked, the list of comics I've picked up, in no particular order:
Getting By - a photographic comic with a lot of Photoshop. Check out the Wrong Things file.
Paradox Lost - Coffee, sensitive data, an X-Box powerful enough to send a signal into space?
Flipside - jester average comic driven by strong female characters.
9th Elsewhere - a girl, her muse, and the trip through her dreams.
All of them so far are wonderful - there are a couple other sites I haven't finished trawling to see if they're worth recommending to you. I'll need a bit more free time than what I have to get them. All four of these should be interesting enough to keep your attention. Hopefully you'll also have pity on my poor comic as well and grace it with your eyes.
Anyway, getting toward bedtime. Problem is, I don't feel very tired. Perhaps I should figure out something to do that will tire me out. The real problem is always waking up in the morning. While I'm out cold, those in the States and elsewhere may want to consider this - The Chaliban - the U.S.'s very own homegrown Religious Reich. Whether we're at the point of theocracy or not is up for discussion, and the name's a bit cheesy, but given a particular set of circumstances, it's not hard to think that things could be very different right now...
