Today was productive, at least - I put down draft materials on my papers that are yet to be due. Tomorrow, perhaps, if the fates are kind, I'll pester my GSI about one, and then put the two draft segments together on the other and give my other prof a pass at it on Wednesday. Slowly, but surely, I'm finishing things up. Maybe then, I can try and find myself a job, although there's still one more paper that hasn't been decided yet and the exams thing. Oh, well. I can still make it work out, really. It may mean I need the lifespan-extending pill, but I can make it work. (No idea whether that article's true or bogus...)
I've also picked up more vid game remixes of various styles and navigated some pages in Japanese, although I can't read a whit of the writing. (Like I need more of this stuff... my hard drive will soon be taken over.) I've got a couple episodes of stuff here and there to watch, too, so maybe tomorrow I'll declare moratorium on work until I get caught up on my anime. Won't take too long, and I'll be doing work while at work, so I might even be able to justify it to myself, too.
Bah. I'm getting toward my summer vacation blues, or something like that. Maybe it's the end-of-school-year anxieties setting in. Either way, I wish it were easier for me to actually get a job, and with grad school rather than regular school looming, I'd like to have a position that pays decent money for once. But those sorts of things seem destined for people who will be working at that job more than just the summer. Ah, well. I'll find something, I know I will. Maybe I'm just tired, and I should go to bed, so that my outlook on life will be sunnier in the morning. And so that I don't think about trying to fall asleep at the desk, too. Although I did fall sleep twice in lecture today - unintentionally, I assure you. I did manage to stay awake through discussion, though, and the lecture afterward. (Pointless ramble count: 1)
I'll capitalize on that suggestion and go to bed, then.
