...three days or so until I depart for Rosemont. Should be an interesting trip. And not just because I have a bunch of lunatics for compatriots. Well, okay, it is because I have a bunch of lunatics for compatriots, and we're being crammed in a hotel with many other rooms full of lunatics, and then they're dangling bait like voice actors and animation directors in front of us. Yeah, I like conventions. It's kind of like letting your tattoo’s guardian spirit out.
Right, then. The Odd juxtapositions department tonight puts R.A. Wilson talking about the increasing speed of reality against Sushil Yadav talking about the increasing speed of reality. One says that we need to slow down, the other says we need to enjoy the ride. Me? I say we learn how to pull off strong-man stunts and then use them for misdirection while we enact our world domination plan. Too verbose, you say? Ah, well.
Remember that evolution trial I referenced a bit ago? Apparently, it went down... but it sucked wang. Not to fear, though. It'll probably get swept up in the Bush Administration retcon that will finally put the GOP firmly in the back pocket of the Religious. MiniTruth expects full reports soon. MiniTruth also would like to remind you that homosexuality is a curable lifestyle choice and that anyone professing anything else is a thoughtcriminal. I'm sure that will tide over well with plenty of the people I know.
Actually, while watching one of the sports programs tonight, one of the colour commentators made a statement that sums everything up.
“That’s the beauty of being a broadcaster,” he said, “you make up the story after it all happens.” Isn’t that the media of today?
And finally, because everyone else is doing it, and my curiosity finally has the better of me, some strange statement that attached itself to me today.
T'would be excellent if anyone and EVERYONE who reads this post a comment of something they would like to do with me someday. (To me someday?) Then post this in your journal to find out what people want to do with you. (or to you, depending on how they think of you.)
Anyway, work beckons in the morning, and I spent my time watching both sports teams be victorious. More strange stuff to follow. But not until tomorrow.
