...okay, maybe not. But there's plenty of strange stuff out on the Web. Things like two-thousand superballs being dumped on an unwary target. Or the magnetic north pole going away from Canada. Or King Tut going on tour again, this time to a media blitz that would make a modern king proud. There's four U.S. stops on the tour, so if you're interested, you can probably use Google (which is now apparently blocking certain pages that have potential DMCA violations in order to save their own hides from being thrashed by it... told you things were strange) There's been drama, there's been annoyance (apparently Who's not living up to at least some of his viewers' expectations) There's been birthdays (jordanis and saxifrage00, respectively.

I have also seen the Heart Sutra translated into Newspeak. *shudder*. But there is also the Twenty-Three Enigma that will confuse plenty of Chaosians to come. It's all in the Law of Fives. And if you really just need a good brain-bending experience, take a crack at Discordia: the RPG. It's the Risus system with a major premise and a minor amount of plot. Perfect for playing with those people who always want to do crazy stuff, because it's all crazy stuff. It's a bit different than, say, Discordian Risus, but that's probably because of the setting Discordia puts itself in. Then again, one could probably come up with just as good a situation anywhere else. but if you're not so hot with rolling dice and consulting tables, then these might be worth a try... or just RISUS, if you need a little more order in your role-playing.

People arriving for lunch tomorrow, then shopping for grocery goods and that sort of thing. Keeping one's cupboard stocked is still of prime importance. Then, probably a little time whittled away, watching some of the basketball game (maybe all of it), and then Work on Monday. All in all, it's been a fairly good week, and hopefully the paycheck that arrives at the end of the next one will prove that point. *sigh*. Now all I need is to find another job...

Well if you're gonna be in on Sunday, the Anime club is gonna go to see Howl's in A-squared Sunday for the 8:30 showing I think. We're leaving out of Jacktown 6:30ish (allow us to get the Webmaster)
