And the week begins again.
Sep. 26th, 2005 08:16 pmLots of stuff to do, of course - plotting out for the big papers, attempting (and possibly failing) to do work for next week (a week buffer = a good thing. If I can push it to two, even better.) Add onto that an organizational meeting tomorrow, and it could be a fun day all around - so I'm going to have to really put the hammer down on getting that assignment done in the next day. I'll have, what, four hours before a dinner break, and maybe two more after that? Shouldn't be a problem at all. I'll have it in hand by Wednesday. Or something. (Am I mad in trying to keep a week between myself and my deadlines at minimum?)
In other news... Dr. Claw finally got Gadget. Alternately, CONTROL lost one of its finest agents, Mr. Maxwell Smart, today.
2dlife attempts to prove why higher education matters. I'm not sure it counts, considering that I'm probably going into public service. But a good try nonetheless. Besides people attempting to get rid of leap seconds shows that even a high degree doesn't mean that silly things don't happen with it. Further proving the point, although not necessarily done by people with degrees, is the rubber experiment, unto which people test whether or not 'tis possible to pile on the protection, one atop the other.
To be Fair and Balanced, however, I feel that I should provide Ten reasons why to have another baby. All of them positively Divine.
And now, I succumb to certain memes. The First:
"Bo'sun!" - The Tempest, Act I, Scene I, Line I.
The Second:
"Beware!" it read, in inviting letters.
So, if you're up for Shakespeare or six-word stories, then take your pick and go, go, go. If you don't like either of those, then perhaps you can write something about this: Bishie Angsty Flowing-Locks Rose-Sniffing Admiral Seeks Girlfriend, Princess.
After all, may as well get things going before they come to take me away, hah-hah!. Just let me make a call first.

Date: 2005-09-27 06:09 am (UTC)I'd love to see the data backing up this statement. I find it a little hard to swallow. Even if it were possible the problems it would introduce would be so catastrophic that Armegedon would be a welcome aleternitive.
These people just don't think
