Did okay in presentation, have to re-print paper because I didn't get everything in it that I needed to. Oh, well, that paper's not sue for two more weeks. This is a good thing. Dented other assignments as best I could, have almost finished one due next Tuesday. Thus, I was social tonight for some part of the night. This is also a good thing. I also got to watch a considerable amount of the hockey game. Today was productive, while not being taxing. Maybe because I didn't do any readings...?

Oh, yeah, and the lightbulb of my overhead light burnt out as I entered the room tonight - luckily I have a desk lamp. So I'll have to get some lightbulbs over the weekend. That's life. Have a fish. Just check to make sure it didn't come from a luminescent ocean.

In other materials, The Hammer brigade strikes again, suggesting that in times of flu, the military is the best response. One might make a crude remark about the purpose of the National Guard, or perhaps about the nature of Emergency Response departments, but as the perfectly politically correct "liberal", I leave the exercise, as always, to the imagination. Something not quite as imaginative, though, involves someone doing a free speech project - wherein Wal-Mart turned in a picture to the Secret Service. The picture? A thumbs down and a tacked G.W. Bush.

A novel idea for the reconstruction of New Orleans - make it a floating city, and use the waterways as a means of transport. Cars on the floating streets could be interesting - would there be such? How many? And how would you build the streets in such a way? And some other things. But it's too late for me to think things through completely. G'night.

Now, I know it's the secret service's job to be krazy and paranoid. But they're really not thinking too hard. I mean, look out, an anti-bush picture! Is that grounds for investigation, now? There's such a thing as being too paranoid.
