Well, I'm supposedly coasting a bit, sort of trying to do work and such. Need to keep at it, though. Otherwise it'll be zOMG ASSIGNMENTS again, and that's just not cool. So maybe tomorrow... maybe Friday... maybe I'll get work done? Maybe?

Leading off tonight's strange things, someone with sixteen children. Actually, that's not very strange. Some people couched the news in terms of someone trying to bring in more children who fear God and vote neoconservative, of which there may be a grain of truth. Maybe they'll all receive these toys for Christmas? (Here's some people playing with this toy).

Standing against the sorts of values that toy produces is someone who wants to see if there is such a thing developing as a second superpower of peace activists across the country and the globe. In slightly more militant terms, they are of the opinion that patriotism is a menace to the free society, and that America has the potential to be the best fascist nation ever.

The Second Superpower thing is interesting. Consider. When Victor Hugo suggested a European Super-state, he was laughed down. By WWII, 200 years on, a whole collection of globalist organisations had sprung up, including the beginnings of European government and by the Cold War we were getting hard to ignore.

Whats next? Europe needs to prove that integration works without falling into itself. We will continue to gain support. We need more members in China and on the right. The right-left devide is currently an essential one, we need to let conservatives know that global citizens are not their enemies and value their opinions as long as they act with respect to all.

Then, one world government. Then, one world religion. Then, a new movement emerges towards new goals, and the Human Spirit goes on.

Syncretism taken a wee bit too far. I prefer my squabbling humans as they are, thanks.

It's actually a reason to have children: if I only complain that nothing's changing and the morons are taking over, I maybe could do something by having nonmoronic kids... But who can garantie?
