But at the moment, everything on the system seems... stable. I haven't had a hard-lock yet and I've been running at about what I would normally be doing. This means good things to come. If it stays like this for a little while, then I have to start thinking about how I want to transplant objects from one to the other, and then from there, moving everything back into the proper case. But for now, things seem to be working, which is super-hot. I feel productive again, mostly because I have my playlist at my disposal. Okay, maybe it's just because I won't have to make a decision to go up to the computing lab. Still... it's nice being home on your home machine again. (And the @ separator is thirty-four years old today - so enjoy that part of your e-mail.)

So, since I've been gone for a while, I've got a lot to catch up on. Rosewood phones beckon (you'll need to scroll up to see) so that I can put in my call to the No-Spine Zone. Truth in advertising strikes again. A New Take on the idea of "Whole Foods" - using biodiesel to ship the products. Eeeeinteresting.

Of course, there's some other stuff, too - apparently the "ethical concerns" meme is starting to spread to other places - Target pharmacist denies woman emergency contraception. I still think that something about "do no harm" prevents this idea from happening. Then again, I might be one of those activist types. One of our best, however, went into hiding years ago. Hopefully he'll return in triumph. Otherwise, he'll be Floccinaucinihilipilificated.

Something else that's scary - United States patent law permits gene sequences to be patented. Gattaca, anyone? Also, for as wired as we are, or perhaps, more because we are wired, we're apparently not engaging in Deep Thought - and it's killing our IQ. Sufficiently that we're suing God. Nietzsche would probably throw it out on the grounds that the defendant was deceased. Although, by saying that, I might have exercised thinking again. Thinking might be bad for me. Then again, the marketing meme was just classified as a potential outbreak, so maybe thinking confers immunity.

Can be no crazier than the idea that non-voting is secession. Or perhaps some of the ideas that humanity has had about sex and sexual performance.

Parting shot for tonight - one more reason to hate Wal-Mart: The heiress cheats. It's also another reason for us to snigger at USC, but we'll forebear because there may be a couple of our university grads wanderig around with the same syndrome.

So that's it for me tonight. And now, hopefully, we'll be back to our regular schedule.

I'm not sure pharmacists have to take the Hippocratic Oath.

Also, hundreds of IRC users (including you and I) engage in Deep Thought EVERY DAY. (Aren't we special?)
