Today was semi-productive. Did some bits, did not do some other bits. Did, however, finish a paper.



On the less serious material, breaking news from the squirrel front. Apparently, they've obtained some effective attack training. Perhaps they'll get weapons next.

More memory may not mean better recall in the human brain. Apparently, it's as much about what you keep out as what you let in.

If you're semi-annoyed at the pharmacists who insist on putting their morals above their ethics, then perhaps you will be able to convince them of their errors by enacting Plan B(rat). Or maybe you can relate to them a story about undergraduates in the office as to why you want to be able to keep contraception around. Or you could invoke J. Brad Hicks's General Theory of Moral Relativity, and that would work, too. (Edit: He expounds on the theory as well.)

Happy birthday to nikolain, finally. He's been a good guinea pig at conventions where I start getting my games on.

And now that it's officially December, I can start using this icon if I want to.

I might think about it, but I'd need a group to go with and money that I don't have and won't get.
