Actually, today was a pretty quiet day all told on my end - video card replacement arrived, I ran one reconfigure and things were back up and running. I'll get Windoze eventually. Tomorrow promises to be interesting, in that I have at least two tasks to do, and will probably end up with three before the day is finished. Still, it's not that bad, and I can then spend the rest of the time working on that paper. Do that and I'm all set. I just need to buckle down and do the work tomorrow. And schedule a meeting with the right people and do reading and this and that and this and that... ick. Taking the weekend off might not have been as productive as I thought. Now I just have to play catch-up, I think.

I've also acquired a new person watching me... unfortunately, I'm not sure of the linkage, as they are not widely spread. So if sarah_bongo could step up to the microphone and introduce herself in a way that would make me understand ( I do have my suspicions as to what this is...)

Beyond that point - platitudes passing as science, like married couples might have more wealth than single people. Duh. In slightly more interesting news, PC viruses have turned twenty years of age. That's just scary. Let's try that again.... Self-repairing spacecraft, maybe? That's pretty interesting.

No, that doesn't really work either, does it? Oh, well... I'm out of ideas at the moment. Probably means I should go to bed and try again in the morning.

I can just see the horror movies attatched to it now. Basic plot: the space ship decides that the airlock is damage done to the hull and repairs it. Meanwhile, some horrendous tragedy happens inside and the crew has just hours to live, but they can't get out because there's no longer an exterior door on the airlock....

Well, I was thinking that the horrendous tragedy occured separate of the active attacker, and so things would be even more confusing until the climactic final struggle.
