...I lost my voice. Kinda sucks when you've got neat stuff in class you want to talk about. But I persevered, admittedly in a lower register than usual.

Reading through Frankenstein. It's actually a pretty good piece, and nothing like what you might think of it as through the classic movie imagery. Shelley tells a fabulous story. One page due Tuesday.

The sci-fi lecture was quite interesting today, since I think it helped me figure out how to write these papers for that class. I can only hope that the process demonstrated takes place inside my head well, and that I might have good editors in my roommates to help.

Good news from the doc: I need no physical therapy now, but I need to continue at my exercises to regain full mobility and neat stuff like that.

Anyway, I need rest, for Chaucer will try to kick my arse tomorrow morning at 10 or so. But it'll be Friday, then, and I can sigh a bit of relief. A very small, non-painful sigh.

Whee-lah!

Say Happy Birthday to the newest member of the community of Adults, at least according to the U.S. government. Our good friend [livejournal.com profile] welah turns 21 today, and so they actually think he's responsible enough to imbibe the bubbly. He's not doing that today, but he has the option.

Happy Birthday!
