Or something. Yeah, that sounds horrible. But fun stuff happens here. Like rain. Rain is nice.

On the stuff from yesterday, apparently, a lot f the outrage is directed at the fact that it's an image, rather than a column. There would still be rantage about it, I'm sure, but apparently, in a column, perhaps with both sides discussed, people would feel less offended about it. So it's mostly because it's a cartoon and shortly after the Pope's death, not that it's making fun of the Pope. Check. That's not making the greatest sane sense, but I'll accept it.

For those contemplating visiting Canada, you may have to bring your passport to get back in. Yet another fine service of anti-terrorism that will probably very conveniently pay other dividends that are currently being obscured by the hand-waving.

There's also that bit about the robot helping to teach class. Very interesting, this one. File it with the cannabis madness experiment, and the electric unicycle as "technology having fun with us". Perhaps it's up there with the somewhat talked-about swingometer that our UK friends seem to enjoy so much?

Anyway, all snarking aside... well, okay, one last interesting thing - FemDefence. And that's all I'm saying about it - interesting.

I'd take a cannon and blast something similar to [livejournal.com profile] goji's rant about subcultures needing more respect, but I have work in the morning, and thus, should already be in bed. See you.
