Once again, we begin the week.
Jul. 10th, 2005 10:13 pmDidn't do much, really. Last night, watched Laputa and the Escaflowne movie with
getsource, who I've been lax in keeping contact with. Also loaned him my Someday's Dreamers box set. We chatted a bit about the appalling dearth of soundtrack material in U.S. animation markets and some things about getting collections on the legal side of existence. He had a nice site that if I decide I want to go buying music in digital form, I know where to go.
Today was relatively uneventful. I didn't meet any panhandlers disclaiming they weren't Jesus, I wasn't asked if I was a model at the laundromat, and being partially employed, I don't have to think about all the things I could be doing if I didn't have a job. What I did do was get birthday gifts, have lunch with the parents, get groceries, and watch the U.S. Women's Football Team thwap the Ukraine Women's Team 7-0. This following week looks action-packed if everything slated to appear does and on proper time. It leads off with work, however (although, there is an All-Star Baseball game... which I think I have an umpiring shift in the middle of.) and so I have to get through to the good stuff. Should be okay, though.
That's okay, though. The world is a pretty interesting place. Something that houses parrots who understand the concept of zero can't be too boring. Most certainly if they're out building walls to segregate themselves.
There was a new addition made to the world on 7 July. A Mini-Goddess appeared, born to the one whom the Boardieverse calls Ma'am in a very respectful tone. Welcome, Nadia. Leave your sanity at the door. We have already dispatched teams to mother and child to give them their respective Manuals of Parenting and How to Get Out of Trouble. They should find their way there soon enough. Go congratulate
maritzac on the addition to her family. If you're a Boardie, you may want to salute. That way you might start on her good side.
And with that, bed will be arriving soon.
