Mostly because I was kind of hoping that someone else might be able to help me with it. But if this is not the case, tomorrow, when not doing this, that, or the other thing, I may decided to cheat once more and have a thwack at asking the reference librarians whether they can help me find what I'm looking for. Yes, it's for a reference class, but I'm stymied. They tell me I don't necessarily have to come up with an answer, that it's about the sources, but I suspect they start these things with a source or two in mind for us to find and use... so there are answers, just not ones that I can find at the moment. Maybe Sunday I'll do something about it. Maybe tomorrow I'll do something about it. Maybe Monday. Maybe I'll just sack up, admit defeat, and throw down a couple sources that may or may not have anything to do with the question. I'm not too worried about it. I'll just ask. It might be cheating, but frankly I'd rather learn what's there and how to get to it than not know. This is, after all, going to be my profession.

Anyway. Along with that, some logistic things to run off for the assignments that are due this week. And then to beat into submission the group that is supposed to create a document for next week that must be turned in. Although it's not completely urgent rightnowthanks, it's getting that way. On a tangential note (basically, think "groups"), this idea about minigrid power looks like it could be very interesting. From there (follow "interesting"), there's some instructions on how to do VoIP to all the phones in your house. And from there, (go "strange" this time"), we end up at a gent who buys MiGs from old Soviet states. For his own collection. Hail Eris, I suppose. And if I want to snerk a bit about that, here's a lesson in applied statistics: Tornadoes and Baptists have strong correlations. Thus, liars, damn liars, and statisticians holds itself true. Although it is rather funny to watch something like that unfold. The data's right. It's all about what you do with it.

But hey, at least I'm not special. That means there are plenty of other people who have the same problems that I do.

And, in a very "You HAD to be there" moment, tonight’s parting shot:

"Next, on WFTV: The BNN NewsHour, followed by This Old Bunker, and then later on, 'The Newbie'."
"The following program is rated MA, for classified data well beyond your clearance."
"Will you keep the damn Insidious down?! I'm trying to sleep over here!"
