Long night.
Jun. 13th, 2006 12:47 amOfficiating ran long - two teams were playing all offense and no defense. No pitching, either. The last game of the night, both sides got chippy at me about the strike zone and such. I might have been calling it a little high and wide, and maybe a little inconsistent, but really, people, the last game ran long. If you can hit it, there's a good chance it'll be a strike. Today was a bit long on the other work side, too. Managed to fight off falling asleep in the staff meeting. I swear, I pick up the tiredness from everybody else around me, and that makes it really hard to fight off wanting a nap.
Oh, well. Just have stuff to do.
An amusing image - on photobucket, though, so it may or may not show up - Even though God hates furries, Jesus loves 'em. Speaking of God, or rather those who claim to speak for him, apparently the religious right is worried that a new cervical cancer vaccine will promote promiscuity. Riiiiiight. One wonders why they devote such time to proclaiming that disease and death are due to the deviant, rather that praising that the creations of God can step a little closer to being perfect like Him. Ah, well. There are some things we may never understand. In either case, though, it's bedtime - we've been up too much as it is.
