silveradeptYep. After next week, I'll be all finished with my internship thingy. And then the classes begin anew. Whee?
Also, according to the new definition, Pluto was voted off Survivor: Sol System today. Didn't quite measure up to the new definition. We'll see if something comes along later that allows us to restore the ninth planet.
Plan B available without prescription...to those 18 and older. One step forward, we suppose. Having it available means that access should improve. The under-18 crowd still has to have a doctor's note, though. That's not entirely smart, as they're likely to be the people who need it.
If you blow the whistle on someone, could your cell phone end up getting you killed? Especially if you're talking about the tracking software installed inside your phone that governments and others can use to find you? If you're in the military and you entertain doubts about the veracity of 11 September, don't use your government e-mail to express doubts. It could get you discharged for saying things that are "disloyal to the United States", something that just can't happen in military personnel.
Used FAQs. For those sorts of questions that you're sure have been asked, but aren't sure where to look... or if you just want to see what other people actually have put into a FAQ list.
The ice caps aren't the only things shrinking due to global warming. That's not even an original joke, but it does fit the idea.
An inexpensive way of manufacturing photovoltaics? Maybe. I wonder what the efficiency on them is, though. It's no use printing 'em cheap if they aren't efficient enough to be worth it.
