Feetball was cold, windy, and rainy. The team still won. There was some likely well-deserved time off taken to play games, and then there was the trombone progressive, likely the last fall progressive I'll be at, unless I decide to come back for some reason. It's one of those lasts again. There will obviously be some lasts that I don't mind at all, and others that might be a bit teary.

For some reason, I got handed a lot of links about sex today. In fact, there seems to be a large segment of sexual links going around. Maybe it's that time of the month? Some people aren't even awake and trying to have sex. Which bothers researchers, of course. Beyond that, a pairing of articles, first on the seduction community, form Wikipedia, and then the essence of enlightened seduction. Actually, the whole thing started (and since it's about sex, this should not be surprising to regular readers) because of [livejournal.com profile] idan_cohen's post about celebrating women and womanhood. Which may or may not have anything to do at all with sex.

In terms of being someone with alternative anarchistic affirmations about economic matters, namely, a mutualist, it would appear in some ways that the anarchist community occasionally runs a damned if you do, damned if you don't mentality with regards to other ideologies. And people wonder why movements such as that don't get too far off the ground.

OSHA says a man's life is worth $2500, company refuses to pay. In a death caused by a safety hazard, the Indiana OSHA set the life of the man as worth $2500, the amount of the fine. The company is fighting the fine levied against them. They should be counting their lucky stars, I suspect, that they didn't get hit with a more stringent penalty. But, that's how things happen in the world. I'm not sure that I like that a man's life is worth so little, but I definitely don't like that the company is saying "No. We didn't do anything wrong. We're not going to pay it."

Last thing to consider for tonight - 830 points in Scrabble. How bumbling along might lead one to the biggest Scrabble score ever. (Which is also why [livejournal.com profile] 2dlife so regularly whips me at Literati - I bumble more than I play)

Anyway, off to bed. G'night.

I gotta say, though this isn't related to the entry [which was still very interesting btw,] your taste in music is awesome lol.
