All finished with intervies - 8 June 2007

All the hard parts are done - the interviews are over. I don't know whether I'll be getting any job offers out of this, but there was a lot more laughter on today's interview than there was on the first one. I think that's a good sign.

So now I have the weekend and Monday to myself. I think I'll take some part of Monday, meaning most of it, and go in to see the Experience Music Project and the sci-fi museum. przxqgl, where did you want to meet up tomorrow? You can send by e-mail or some other method. If it's a particular place, I can probably get good directions from the people I'm around and/or the power of Google Maps or some other thing.

So, yeah. I'm finished with the difficult part. Now is the relaxing weekend thingy, right? Right.

if you want to meet at 1st and pike, that would be a good place to start... you want to meet on the south west corner, right next to the news stand at 2:00 and we'll go from there?

Sure, that sounds like a winning combination. Is there some place around that I could park, or someplace I should park and then take a train or some other thing into town with?

it depends on how long you want to spend getting there and back... if you're really concerned about finding a parking place, you can do a couple of things: you could park somewhere close to where you're staying and take a bus, which is fairly easy - although you'll have to ask someone about busses from the north, as i am a south king county kinda guy and don't know those sorts of things - or you could do what i'm planning on doing, come early and find a place on the street or in a parking lot somewhere. there's a couple of parking lots fairly close to first and pike, on western avenue (one block west of first, towards the water) and one at second and union as well, which is one block south and one block east. there's frequently street parking to be found on western avenue as well, if you know where and when to look...
