Comic's up, I'm going ta bed soon, and I have a busy day tomorrow. Assuming I sleep tonight, considering I still have a cough hanging around with me that stops me from taking deep breaths 90% of the time, on Thursday comes the UMMUN conference that I'm playing staff on. That'll be most of the friggin' weekend. Oh, well. It's usually fun, and I should have plenty of time to ensure that all my assignments happen as planned. Oh, well.

Had inspiration on the way back from a section today about the paper I turned in later today. Hopefully it gets a nice amount of credit. One point would be nice.

Anyway, lordmork posted something interesting in his journal, and I think it's worth our while to take a look at the question he asks.

You know, I joke around with welah about his going cross-country to go live with his tiger, but I really am, well, worried about him. He and I have been friends for a while, and I'm not entirely sure I trust letting him go out from my general vicinity... it's an absurd fear, for I'm sure that welah wouldn't be going if he didn't believe it was worth it, but still...

I'm being silly. Maybe I'll feel better once I've met the tiger in question. A large part of my worry, I think, is that I won't be able to hatch spur-of-the-moment plans with welah while he's away. Again, I'm being silly, but it's the silly fears that stick with us the longest.

In an unrelated matter,

The tiger notices that that particular train of thought tends to appear a lot. It occupies your mind greatly, doesn't it?

...yeah, it does. I'm not exactly sure why it sticks around in my head so much. Although I was worried about my sister moving down to Chicago while she was chasing a job. I'm still kind of worried about her, but with my dear sister, I'm more confident in her ability to cope. Plus, she comes back to my neck of the woods every now and then.

Like I said, it's a silly, irrational fear, but I can't seem to shake it.
