...day one passes. Nothing much. Tomorrow will be infinitely more taxing. I think.

A quiz of sorts, taken out of [livejournal.com profile] tkarrde98's journal... he has fabulous responses.

One: What does it say in the signature line of your emails?

-Alex Byrne, LSA Junior
General Studies Program
(A Slacker I Am Not!)

Two: Did you have a senior quote in your high school yearbook? What was it? If you haven't graduated yet, what would you like your quote to be?

Graduated, I have. Quote, yes. Here it is: "There is nothing in this life that indicates that it was meant to be serious."

Three: If you had vanity plates on your car, what would they read? If you already have them, what do they say?

If I had them, it would either read: MMBONE (the first M is the block M of the University of Michigan) or SILVER1. Cheesy, yeah, but that's probably what it would read.

Four: Have you received any gifts with messages engraved upon them? What did the inscription say?

I don't think I have. This probably means that I'm missing an obvious one somewhere, but I don't think I have.

Five: What would you like your epitaph to be?

I dunno. Probably something like "Why does it take us to die before we realize how many lives we've touched?" Or possibly something about being an honorable man and an good librarian, father, etc...

Bedtime now. Will think less in the morning.

We tried to do it at my high school last year. It was pitiful. The director cut out HUGE sections, like the entire oboe solo section and all of the fourth theme near the end. At least they left in the cannon. I would have had to make with the stabbity stabbity had they left that out. I actually have the score to Vesuvius, as the director had an extra one, and I asked for it. It's one of my favorite concert band pieces EVAR.

Oops. I meant canon, not cannon. My bad.

The canon is the best part of the whole song! And the 9/8 wasn't too bad. Except for the trumpets. It took a WEEK to get them to stop making the second beat into a triplet. Gah! *shakes his fist menacingly at the trumpets*
