Work's been great, but the 'net's been a bust for the last two days. Stupid Comcast. They've been running a really bad series of commercials about how things are so irritating, like dial-up quitting. That's true, but then they compare it to stuff like an elevator or a shower quitting suddenly, and somehow dial-up is more irritating.

Please. That's as bad as the McDonald's rap commercials we've been seeing. Come on, people. Annoying will get it stuck in your head, yes, but in a negative connection. You guys can do better. Hopefully my next paycheck will be nice and fat, with nearly two weeks work on one house... mweh-heh-heh.

Speaking of annoying commercials, have you seen the "Piracy is bad" commercials done by the MPAA that just started? Yay, I'm making cameramen and makeup artists lose their jobs by downloading movies I've already paid to see, instead of waiting for them to come out on TV so I can tape them off of broadcast...

Most interesting I thought was that at the end of the commercial, when all the people who bring you movies have finished introducing themselves, they all speak together, sounding exactly like The Borg. This was most disturbing, yet not altogether suprising that the MPAA should turn out to sound like the collective. ;)

You know, I almost kinda started to wonder where you had gone. Funny thing; if someone loses internet, they might just as well have moved out of state for a few days, as far as I'm concerned. Still, glad you're back on.

Unforunately, I happen to work at McDonald's...

And they spam us with motivational commercials too. Plus we have to watch their crappy commercials to preview them.

Gag me.

No, no...

They can't see the anguish on the faces of the television viewers. We're there so that the marketing people can get satisfaction from seeing people gag on it first-hand.

Sadistic fools!
