Is it bad when I think that my life hasn't had enough new things to be classified as being worthy of journal writing?

Because that's been the way things are for a bit now. Finished my paper drafts, got them all printed, watched hockey, went to lunch with the parents, and we talked like we normally do. My lil' siblings took the weekend at rehearsal for the Lions of Michigan All-State Band, something that I did for three years before coming to University.

End of term stuff is on it's way. Exams, then the work crush. Depending on my interview on Tuesday and what they're willing to pay me, I may have a job. I may not. Oh, well. Not a whole lot of excitement in my life lately. The weather has been fairly nice, in that I got to break out the shorts today and yesterday., and we put the fans to running in the apartment.

It must be that time of year, or something, judging by the commentary in my friends list. You know, spring, the time when a young man's fancy turns to pr0n, err, love. Well, maybe just the mating instinct. Is there something hormonal going on here or what?

Enough about that. I gave someone a paper idea today. They stopped me in one of the computing centers and said, "You're in Professor T's Canterbury Tales class, right?" I nodded, and she proceeded to outline her current paper topic. She was worried that it might be more of an observation than an argument. I agreed with that, and she complained that the real problem with her paper was that she couldn't find a focus. As an example, I somewhat offhandly remarked that the characters in her chosen tale were not accidentally named. She took the idea and decided to make it a paper and thanked me profusely. Put one on the scoreboard for me, I guess. *shrugs* Just trying to be helpful and all that. Hopefully she got it all done before the writing of this entry.

As is the customary drill, finish entry, go to bed. Get up tomorrow with a renewed sense of purpose... or something. Last week of class starts tomorrow.
