...for exams! Tomorrow is Chaucer, Wednesday is Bible. Attended both review sessions tonight and feel fairly solid on the Chaucer exam. I may spend a little time brushing up on the Bible one, just trying to get passages down in the right places with the right authors. Just hoping that no surprises appear, and both of my professors are probably not about to do something like that to me.

Drove out a ways (less 'n 20 minutes in the car, but still) to try and apply for a job today, only to find that the HR person isn't in the office at the time I arrived. So I'll call tomorrow, as suggested, and see if I can't pick anything up. A bit aggravating, but understandable.

Roommate N and I are moving along through the Knight game. Roomie S has returned from D.C., where she was attending the rally over the weekend.
Somedays it's tough being a guy in a liberated world - I feel like I'm being blamed for all the stuff the peoples of the past committed and not being given any of the credit for the good stuff. (this, too, is felt with regard to being Caucasian but lessened somehow, probably because I don't have reminders thrown at me quite as often) I hope that I never run into someone who scoffs at my holding a door for them. I fear the consequences.

So I still will say: Anybody who has a nice, high-paying, easily-learnable job in the Ann Arbor area just lying around... can I have it, please? I could really use it. It'll be for the summer, and if things work out in my schedule, maybe part of fall and winter, too...
